Lieber Herr Meiser,

I’m playing with the settings and practising my best Ritchie licks.

What a great pedal this 71/73 CM - many thanks!

Peter

Hi Bernd,

71/73 pedal arrived safely Monday however, I did not unbox until today.
What can I say other than it's SUPERB! SUPERB! SUPERB!

Many, many thanks,
regards Terry

Guten Morgen Bernd,

Mirko

Hi, this Spectrum is one of the best pedals I’ve had through the years..
My Strat and LesPaul sings
Soo happy and digging..
Thanks and congratulations to you..
All the best

Good day Bernd! I got the RM Metal Booster yesterday and Im beyond happy with it! I have been on quite a journey trying to find the right treble booster that works for what I do. When I ordered from you I was really worried that it was going to be like one of the many others Ive tried (Range Master circuit with selectable cap values). I don’t know how yours differs but the Metal Booster doesn’t sound like any others Ive tried. It definitely retains more of the midrange that range masters usually cut but it doesn’t sound overly nasally like the previously mentioned ones do. Outstanding!

John

Hallo Bernd

Danke dir.

Gruß Mirko

About the “Powderfinger” Booster to get Neil Young´s sound:
Hey, hey, my, my ! What a sound ! It's a really nice sounding pedal you did there ! Amazing as a booster and even more as an overdrive ! You nailed it or should I say: you "neiled" it !

Many thanks, keep the good work!

Patrice D.

Hallo Bernd,

geiles Teil – sehr klassisch.

Martin

Everything arrived safely. I haven't gotten to install the spice box yet and compare it to my MTC. The RB looper works as it should and the Galaxy is fantastic. In the future I will order a second Galaxy as a backup.

John C.

der Studio´75 ist echt Magie.
Bin begeistert, danke,
Die Kombination mit Mesa Boogie ist ein wahres Genuss.
Schöne Zeit wünscht

Milan

Chapeau !!

G'day (Guten tag) Bernd,
RMG has arrived and I tried it with my old 60's strat and VOX 1963 ac15 twin.
Marvelous, wonderful, awesome..... and it still retains the character of the old amp, great!!!

Thank you so much.

Pol

Bernd,
Just to follow up, I ordered the RPA Special from Steves Music in New York, received pedal 2 days later and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!
I have played for over 30 Years and have refined my tone to near perfection but was never 100% satisfied, your RPA Special has finally got me to my goal of my perfect tone, THANK YOU!!!

Respectfully,

Todd Fohrman

Many thanks for building the RM Metal pedal.
The tone is fantastic!!!!! Very organic very Iommi.
I've tried other treble boost before including a naga viper but sold them on very disappointed.
I'm using it with a peavey 6505 on the clean crunch channel using a. Les Paul with PAFs Best tone I've ever had Once again thanks

Meine 3 weiteren Booster landen jetzt bei eBay: Das will was heißen!

Hi Bernd,
This is Steve from Steve´s Music center
Just got this email.....I would love to get one like this every day.

Hey Steve,
I just wanted to let you know I received the pedal and I'm very happy with it. It's not very often in life you buy something unseen and it live up to your expectations; the BSM "RPA Special Booster" did -- and then some! It was expensive but I feel I truly got what I paid for: Ritchie Blackmore in a box!

The pedal does exactly what I needed it to do: it drives my tone achieving a smooth, violin-like tone that is picture perfect for a Strat and obviously very Blackmore-esque. Most overdrive pedals add unwanted overtones but the BSM is very transparent. It's nice!

Anyway, it might seem silly but in a way you kinda made a dream come true:
I'm on a budget, but you cut me a deal and I've found my golden tone.

Thanks a lot!
By the way, if you have a newsletter sign me up. You're now my new
"Musician's Friend"!

Best,
--Michael

Just thought you'd like to see that.

Sincerely,
Steve

Hi Bernd, I had a concert with my Deep Purple tribute band last night...and with your backup unit 71/73 CM treble booster :) What a concert!! What unbelievable sound!! What a great treble booster!!! I don't know what this unit do, but It works really fine with strat and vox ac 30!! Really Blackmore tone! Great!!!!!!! Thanks again Bernd, Davide

Hi, I recently acquired a BSM RM Velvet treble booster. I originally bought it because I felt that I could do with a bit more treble on the lead channel of my amp. However I have since discovered that rather than using it to provide the amp with more treble, it is in fact a tremendous overdrive unit, much better than the amp's overdrive. For many years I have been messing around getting various stomp boxes which caused me much frustration, with a mixture of muddy, poorly defined, and at best bland sounds. But the RM Velvet gives me a tight, slightly grainy, well defined quality sound. It's a gread pedal. The best thing is that I play better now that i'm getting a quality sound. I would like to know more about the other BSM treble booster units. There appears to be big range of other similar looking units and I would like to know more about them and how they differ from each other. Thanks for making a quality box that provides quality overdriven sounds. All the best, Alan Manley

Hello Bernd, I received the RM Metal. Thanks for getting it to me quickly! You must have the best ear for tone, as the pedal sounds amazing...even better than I had hoped for! With me getting the RM Metal, I am sure you know I was after the Sabbath sound. It nails it! What other of your products do you recommend I try? I mainly play 'heavy' music. Best regards, Chris

Christopher Richardson

Dear Bernd! I received the pedals. I don’t have words. It’s simply very cool! Small boxes make a great sound. CM 71/73 is very transparent and brilliance. Strat sounds like it must do. It’s very interactive with Volume control of guitar. RPA Special is more distorted and fatness, but very singing. When EQ closed, it’s really Machine Head’s sound. I tried it with Marshall JVM 215C combo in clean channel. It’s really like JCM 800 and 4x12 Cab. Ambassador is very useful. Each position of controls makes new sound. I tried it with Ibanez TS-9DX (Keely mod), Empress Effect Multidrive and Wampler Pinnacle II. My guitar is ready to explode. You are magician. Many, many thanks! Nick, Moscow

Hello Bernd, I finally received the BSM RW-F and have been playing it for 2 days now. Already it is my favorite of the several BSM pedals I now own. The RW-F is truly a wrecking machine that turns my Les Paul and Vox/Marshall amps into weapons of annihilation! The guitar volume roll-back tones are rich and vintage sounding, and cranked wide-open it has brutal power and biting sustain. Your best pedal yet, in my opinion.

Hello Bernd, I would like to say to you, that I am really shocked by the quality tone I can get from this gadget (VX-T). Much, much better than I expected, (and I have been playing guitar for 18 years). I am very happy with this purchase and I am enjoying very much. I am going to try to find some free time to submit a review in Harmony Central because this pedal deserves it. Take for granted that we will make another deal in the future. Thanks for all. Best Regards, Angel

Hi Bernd, I have good news.... I tested some of your pedals.... HS-C - Fireball - 71/73 - and RPA California. They are fantastic.... great sound. Sound is very similar to Ritchie's sound. Now I have these 4 boosters. If you want to play Deep Purple & Rainbow songs these boosters are ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY!!!!

Emiliano Lupi

Herr Meiser - I received my RM-Velvet from Pedalgeek in New York and it sounds killer! I can't decide if I like it better than the HS-Custom. The Velvet definitely has a rich, meaty sound with great harmonics and "squawky" tones. The HS on the strat neck pickup was a pleasant surprise to me. But overall, the Velvet is one of the best blues sounds I've ever heard, seriously, especially with the Les Paul. I am impressed. Keep up the good work. You truly have a great ear for tone, Bernt--and the appreciation of those great classic sounds that deserve to preserved for new generations of players. Thank you for what you do. Best wishes from U.S.A., John Cardin

Hi Bernd, the pedal (RW-F) is absolutely brilliant – I’ve become found of using a Marshall micro amp in the studio – the booster just sounds so creamy, the sustain is great – and with e-bow it brings musical expressions I’ve just not been able to hear till now. This really should be used by every guitarist. I’m not a thrash metal merchant and demand the need for clear expression – this pedal does it! I’ m recording an album presently – I’ll send over some video stuff using the pedal once it’s complete – should be Spring 2011. Kindest regards, David

David

Dear Bernd, yesterday I play with the RPA......this pedals is amazing. I love it! Together with the fuzzbender I can achive all the tone that I need. Your pedals is super! Regards, Francesco Carraro

Hi Bernd, I hope that you are doing great! I am enjoying my BSM FuzzBender very much. I always get great comments when I use it with my band. The other night, I played Zeppelin's "You Shook Me" and I set it in the Vox ToneBender mode and added some echo -- it sounded AMAZING! Best regards, Mark Hunter (Kustom Amplification USA)

Hallo Bernd, Herzlichen Dank für die schnelle Antwort! My English is better so I'll continue in that... I've suffered severely from a GAS for some years, always seeking for "tone", "sound" or whatever to improve. After a guitar-friend suggested I should try a TB (he had a BSM), in a spontaneous mood, I ordered a HS-Custom (DP fan when I was a teen). What a world opened for me!! Instead of 3 overdrives and a clean boost (and an Analogman Mine Clone Chorus with level pot, recommended), my pedalboard now consists of: BSM HS-C --> KORG DT-10 (tuner) --> Pedalworx Texas Two Step (overdrive) --> Analogman Mini Clone Chorus. I primarily use (2) Fender Deluxe Fat Strats into Rivera combo's (Chubster 40, M100), which I connect to a Rivera Los Lowbottom. The interaction between the guitar's volume knop, the HS-C and the Rivera's is sooo fine, easy, awesome, etc... And again the rule rules: Less is More!! FYI: Contrary to what I read on Harmony-Central, I find the HS-C working very nice with a humbucker! Also the HS-C works fine with the Pedalworx TTS and the Analogman Mini Clone Chorus. Thanks very very, much for your time! Hope you can use my info for other customers or for your own interest! Best regards, Hans

I'm a session guitarist and producer here in Nashville, and I play on a lot of the country records currently on the charts. I just bought a BSM pedal, the spectrum, and I absolutely love it. It's also great turning the guitar volume down, and getting a semi clean tone with the pedal on. Just wanted to drop a line and let you know I appreciate you guys. Thanks, Kenny Greenberg

Die stellst wirklich tolle Profukte her! VG, Mark Zyk

Just played 2 gigs this weekend and used the RPA Major live for the first time. Was the best sound I have ever had live. Realy warm but still cut through the mix realy well. One of these gigs as a Biker rally with 1000 people with a large PA. I was using my Marshall JVM on the one of the almost clean chanels - a tiny bit of crunch. With the RPA on this channel it sounded massive. Check out my version of "Highway Star". It was done with the version of the original tracks on separate channels that appeared on the Internet. Have replaced the guitar part. recorded in a hurry. Just a bit of fun. Using the California btw. Thanks for my great tone! Cheers, Jon

Jon Hepworth

Dear Bernd, thanks for sending me the units, they are absolutely great. I am very happy about this purchase and enjoy their sound. When I tried the RM, I understood why you spoke about transparency and more headroom regarding the Majestic, because the plain RM indeed seemed to have a small headroom and a bit rather „cloudy” sound comparing to e.g. the BM-Q. But it brought that certan „biting” germanium sound that I like – and I found myself using this one the most currently. When comparing the Fryer unit ((the „Treblebooster Touring” which is otherwise nice and I like, and has the Master’s signature, May himself)) to the BM-Q, this latter not just has the volume control and the bypass switch and more gain, but also a bit more crisper sound with more mid-highs, interestingly – and actually it has a more brianmayish sound for me. This is THE Brian May sound – the thing that I was not able to simulate with any other means. Both worked very well without a tube amplifier, too. I tested them with tube pedals Vox ToneLab and ElectroHarmonix English Muffin, as well as digital pedal Boss GT-10, using a Brian May guitar and Roland Cube 60 and 80x amplifiers. What is nice that the GT-10 is not digitally overdriven even when high-gain trebleboost volume settings are set, so I could use its effects and wah on an undistorted trebleboost sound prior to overdriving the tube pedal linked to the fx loop – a nice feature. The digital treble boosters in GT-10 and VoxTonelab just does not compare at all to the BSM units – of course. So, thanks for all, Bernd, very much! Lots of greetings from Hungary, David

Dear Bernd, I have a RPA. No RPA, no life! Sincerely, Sooshi Hirose

Hello again Bernd, just to let you know I now have the RM model (from Musicground), Its sounds Great, Fantastic raw sound up full, down to dirty crunch and then cleans up beautifully. A joy to play and hard to put down !! Thanks again for your kind help and a wonderful product. My very best wishes, Jim

Smooth in. Super! Beste Grüße, Heiko

Heiko Rust

Hi Bernd!!!! It's Artem from Russia again. Sorry for delay with answer! I have problem with internet. I've got BSM 2 weeks ago! All is cool!!! It's sounds perfect!! Like Ritchie in 74 - powerfull, agressive, great!..... Now with my strats and Vox AC 30 I have some "made in japan sound" and 74 sound. Thank you very much for all what you're doing!!! I wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!! I wish you that your dreams come true!!! And we will wait new stuff from you!! p.s. now i have BSM HS-C and RPA. I think that i'll order BSM Special Looper soon.

Artem

Hi Bernd, I bought the RPA a half year ago and I can only say: I've got the holy grail of the Blackmore sound chain! It's absolutely great, the RPA! My sound is so much better than before! This is what I've always missed, but now I have this magical tone too. It even works with digital amp simulators like the POD 2.0 and the Roland cube 30! A few days ago I recorded the christmas song 'Silent Night', in Blackmore-style. When you'd like to hear it: soundclick.com/share?songid=7167812 It's: guitar (Fender Strat with Lace sensors) / RPA / POD 2.0 / soundcard PC. What do you think of it? Thank you so much for making this device! Merry Christmas and a happy new year! Edwin Kosters from Holland

Hi Bernd, this is to confirm the RG booster has been received and I just love it. Killer with my strats through a plexi and responds well to changes in volume, perfect of me ! At a recent gig the guy with the high gain "name" boutique amp just did not get why my simple set up of guitar RG and amp was cutting right though the mix and whilst he was lost in high gain mush. Everyone should try a vintage style amp with a treble booster, there is nothing else quite like it ! Excellent product and service. Many thanks, Steve Hayes

Steve Hayes

Dear Bernd, I wanted to congratulate you on a wonderful product: The BM-Q Treble Booster. I use it with my Orange Tiny Terror amp with various guitars, including a Brian May “Red Special” and a Fender Stratocaster. I love the singing, thick tone I get with it. I like it more than my other treble boosters (Keeley Java Boost and BBE Freq Boost). The Keeley and the BBE have more background hiss and the Keeley actually picks up radio stations! The BM-Q produces much less hiss and is well shielded from radio frequencies. Great job! Laurent, Ottawa, Canada

Laurent M. Lapierre

Hello, I have a Nash Esquire, 1985 VOX AC 30 Silver Jubilee, and we are playing calssic '70s rock. Which one of your treblebooster will do the job best? I have a "Spectrum Fuzz", and it's awesome. Best Fuzz I have ever heard. Keep up the good work. Best regards, Hugo Vimme (Kristiansand, NORWAY)

Hi, I just purchased your BSM RG Rory Gallagher booster and I love it! I am really getting some great Rory sounds now! Thanks for your time, Dave

Dave

Bernd, now I have used RPA for some time and I must say that I like it more and more ! Since getting RPA I haven´t plugged my Tape Deck anymore on, now RPA is doing its duties and it is becaming one of the essential elements in my sound. Thank you for creating RPA ! Yours, Kari Rastas

Hi Bernd, I bought a RPA unit a few weeks ago and it sounds damn good! I tried it with SSL7t, YJM, and humbuckers. It always sounds great. I prefer with YJM, because when I roll back the volume pot, I have that incedible strat twang ! Thank you very much ! Best regards, Janeck

Hi Bernd! Pedals arrived the day before yesterday. Thank You! I came home yesterday but have´nt been able to try them untill now. The RM Majestic is FANTASTIC!!! Superb!! I´ve got the Keeley Java Boost and a RM copy made by a friend and these two will be put to sleep now!! ..or sold! This pedal is so good and I´m sure I´ll have so much use of it ... Good work!! ...and thanks a lot. The RG .... oboy! Tried it with my strat and it just blew me away!! It also sounds amazing when played on my tri-sonic guitar too - soooo FAT!! This surely must please my brother - but I´ll also have to buy one later on!! (-: I´d also like to know the price of the RPA please. Thanks alot again for making superb sounding gear!! Hello Bernd, I received the Fireball and it sounds killer !!!

Joe Stump

Hey Bernd, I just wanted to say I am so impressed with this pedal and how great it works with single coil pickups in making them sound like the "Mt. Olympus" of solo rock tone! I tried this out at RockBlock Guitars with a Mexican 70's reissue Strat into a Rheinheart 18wt combo that sounded very average and twangy BUT, when the Ambassador was kicked on it was pure ass kickin' rock nirvana! Magnificent enharmonic crunch that mates perfectly with the Strat to take it into humbucking BROWN sound without the loss of the complexities that make single coils unique! The mid control is the BOMB and can be dailed for any amp it's plugged into. Fantastic ears you have and sourcing for great NOS trannies and I will be purchasing a Spectrum asap because it nails the Tommy Bolin tone like no other pedal I've ever heard. Thanx so much for making such a great product and inspirational tool!

Tommy Hatcher

Hi Bernd, I received the BM-Q this morning, sounds absolutely great with the AC30 and my V15 Vox! I can't belive the difference to be honest, I'm amazed, I'll chuck the Boss Overdrive pedal I've got in the bin :-)

Rob Whitehead

Dear Bernd: Got my Majestic today from Dan at Pedalgeek. It is fantastic sounding ! Thanks for a fine product & I will recommend them to all my guitar playing friends. Best regards, David Weinstein

I received the package a couple of days ago, it sounds great, very transparent in my signal chain since it's my only effect. It's exactly what my setup was missing. Thanks again. Regards, Brett Etheridge

Hi, I test the two pedals and my favorit is the velvet... You right, it's the perfect blues machine... So, I keep the velvet and I ship you today the classic RM. Thanx a lot and congratulations to build extraordinary pedals...

Eric Dumontet

Hi Bernd, I've been able to play the MKII for some time now, it sounds great! With a good strat into an old Superbass I get these classic Blackmore-like tones. Thanks a lot, have a nice day, Jean

Jean Versaveau

Hi Bernd, can I get a Looper from Dan at pedal geek? Recall I got the Fireball from him. By the way I love the Fire Ball pedal. I just got a VXT from Dan, another great pedal. I have to say your stuff is some of the finest I have ever played. Every pedal is musical and well thought out. No harshness or other unwanted effects. Very Nice Stuff ! Thanks, Rick

Rick Lonardo

Recently heard the RM-Metal booster through a guitar (Gibson) with humbuckers. The tone and sound was amazing!!! I am familiar with the original Rangemaster....the BSM was quieter and smoother!!!!!

Steve Wrobel

I received the FuzzBender this morning and it´s been tested awesome. It is FANTASTIC!!!!! I WILL be buying from you in the future. Kind regards and many thanks, Robin

Hi Bernd, I am VERY happy with my VX-T and the newfound tone of my set up. It adds great sustain, takes the bright treble away from my THD Univalve amp and provides a total new level of clarity with crisp punch at manageable volume. I have an HSS Strat and think I prefer the tone with the single coils but both are good and an improvement. I find that I can't use the tone control above about 80% as my setup thins right out above there but this doesn't matter as the range of tone below this point is just great! Thanks very much. Please email me your bank details so I can pay you! Kind regards, Dennis

Dennis Mahaven

Sehr geehrter Herr Meiser, I recently purchased the BSM BM-Q and wanted to tell you that this is the best treble booster I have ever heard! I also have the Retroman Beano Boost, and have tried out several boosters by Fulltone and Keeley (among other brands), but none of them compare to the BM-Q. It has really helped to brighten and liven up my Orange Rockerverb 50, which is a very dark British amp.

Christopher Gwinn

Hello Bernd, the RM-Metal arrived this week, and it is ever better than I thought! I want to thank you and all of your staff for the outstanding quality of your work. You can consider me a very happy customer and be sure I will soon enjoy another BSM pedal (by the way, if you are planning to build a wah pedal, please let me know...). Thank you again! Loris Marino

Hi Bernd, the FireBall and the Faßbender sounds GREAT ! It's a great great work... Thanks again. Nice to have met you, Best regards, Valérie

Hello Bernd! I received the velvet booster today. I've only tried it with two solidstate amps (my tubeamp is at the reahearsal shack) Great tone! Very creamy but with a very rich palette of overtones. Very nice. A touch more gain than the regular RM... before i knew it a was sliding my way through "you shook me" from Led Zeppelin I. It's great pedal. i'm loving it! I'm a great fan of your pedals. Thank you ever so much.

Hello Bernd, I hope the Frankfurter messe went well and that you had a nice vacation. As you might recall I received my BSM Mk2 Via Frans from Muziekhandel Jukebox. Before I tried it I was not sure I could use The MK2 next to my HS-C,but quite soon I knew: the Mk2 is here to stay !!! I like it very much ! I have a few thoughts about the Mk2 that i want to share with you and I hope you give some comment when you feel it can be of help for me. The HS-C and the Mk2 sound very similar. "Of course" ,you might say,but I was a bit surprised because i thought a FET and a Germanium transistor are two very different devices. Now it looks to me that the importance of using a germanium transistor for a certain sound could be a bit "overrated". The Mk2 is quiter:now that's an advantage not to be overlooked. The HS-C gives a certain bite/edge to the lower notes that I love (think of the riff in the chorus of "space trucking" and you get the picture). I cannot get this so easily with the MK2. The Mk2 is very sensitive to your picking :the harder you play, the more bite the note gets. This is different compared to the HS-C:because the germanium saturates easily,i have to back off a little bit on the volume pot to preserve a good "strat bite". Some lead sounds are easier to get with the Mk2:for example the solo sound of child in time(studio version) The "focus" control is a very useful addition:I can dial in a bit more bass. I still think the HS-C cuts a little bit too much bass Do the HS-C and the Mk2 have the same frequency response? I'm glad I bought the Mk2! now it becomes difficult to choose between the HS-C,OR or the Mk2 ... Koen

Koen Sels

Hi Bernd, I like to congratulate you again, because I try the pedals with my band and they are both awsome !! The RM Treble Booster is as good in rythm guitar or in lead guitar. I really like its "Roooarrr" sound. The Fuzz Bender is the Better Fuzz I ever had. I owned the BJF Pink Purple Fuzz, the MJM London Fuzz, and others ... Your Fuzz blow away the other. Bravo !

Julien (from Nancy/France)

I can't get over your HS Custom I bought this thing is on fire and everyone should own (well anyone that plays electric guitar with a tube amp) hahahahahha. The sounds I have got from this booster is endless I have tried everything and then I stumble on something new and its cool to. I wish you were around when I was younger hahahahah. Really the real Hornby Skewes Treble Booster sounds just like yours but yours is even better the noise is so low (and I played my amp full up like concert levels with this booster) sorry its still very quite. I use a american tele and wired it like a 53 tele and I got some paper caps and it rocks. The funny thing is I sound like Ritchie and thats real cool........ Thank You you found the Mad Man's secret hahahahhaahhahah......... Please keep up the good work and never stop you have a very good product and built like a tank, I think even if you have competition they will buy your product as well..... I say that because I build boosters and things for my friends and they like them but I am telling them to buy yours now seeeeeeeeeeeeee hahahahahahahahah.............. Anyway would like to here you play sometime and if I come to Europe would like to meet you and talk about boosters and maybe jam that would be cool. Thank you again and AMEN to you Brother, Pastor Joe

Joe Bonaventura

Wahnsinnsteil. Glückwunsch! Nie mehr ohne... Vielen Dank und einen schönen Tag! Peter

Peter Vogel

Luca

Hallo Bernd, VX-T Booster kam Dienstag an.
